40 progressive exercises. Covers seconds through octaves, including perfect
4ths and 5ths, major and minor 2nds, 3rds, 6ths, and 7ths.
Interval Identification Exercises
Each exercise presents an interval played twice. On the third play, the answer is
revealed. Work through all 40 exercises sequentially, starting with easier intervals
(perfect 5ths, octaves) and progressing to more challenging ones (minor 2nds, tritones).
Practice along with the full playlist of interval and ear training exercises on YouTube.
How to use: Listen to each interval carefully. It will play twice.
Try to identify the interval before the answer is revealed on the third play.
Repeat exercises as needed until you can identify intervals consistently.

Melodic Dictations (Non-Rhythmic)
Strengthen your melodic hearing with 20 progressive dictation exercises. Begin with
conjunct movements within the Pentachord of C Major and progress to all notes of the
C Major scale and chord-based leaps.
Melodic Dictation Exercises
These non-rhythmic exercises focus purely on pitch identification. Starting with
stepwise motion in a limited range (C-D-E-F-G), the difficulty gradually increases
to encompass the full C Major scale and intervals based on chord tones. Practice
melodic dictation along with the full video playlist on YouTube.
How to use: Listen to each melodic fragment and try to notate the
pitches on staff paper. Start with the earlier exercises and progress as your accuracy
improves. Use a piano or guitar to verify your answers.

plays a chord twice for careful listening. On the third play, the chord type and
notes are revealed. Practice chord quality recognition along with the full video
playlist on YouTube.
How to use: Listen to each chord. It will play twice. Try to identify
the chord quality (major, minor, augmented, or diminished) before the answer appears
